After a hard work out it is important to provide your body with the necessary nutrients to give your self the best chance for growth and further growth.
This an extremely easy post work out protein shake. I suggest using whey protein in the form of whey protein isolates. Whey protein isolates are the highest quality, purest protein powder, and they do not have added fats or carbohydrates. Whey protein isolates are the fastest acting protein because your body will digest them in less then 45 minutes. After a hard work out your body is in a catabolic state, meaning that your body is actually trying to reduce its muscle mass. This shake can provide your body with the nutrients it needs to prevent this as well as supply it with what it needs.
Easy to make Post work out shake
Ingriedents
One cup 1% milk or you can mix with orange juice
One scoop high quality whey protein
One ripe banana
Four to five fresh strawberries that have been rinsed and stems removed (if desired)
1/4 cup of ice (if desired)
Step one
Pour liquid into blender, making sure that the blender is off.
Step two
Add quality protein powder which can be bought here. Blend on low or medium speed for 15 seconds.
Step three
Add fruit and ice,blend making sure to start on medium or low speed and work up to high.
Step four
Pour and enjoy
